I don't have a Sub but recently switched from a five digit GMT to a SD43. This is my first experience with a ceramic bezel and from my vantage point the difference it night and day. The ceramic bezels are just soooooooo much nicer than the aluminum inserts. I had no idea how much nicer until I had one. I love the classics too, but the new bezels combined with the new bracelets are just incredible upgrades.

16613. I don't like the lugs, bezel diameter, crown guards or thickness of the 116613. The bracelet will never convince me to like it. I'd be careful not to be talked into a trade if you prefer the look of your current 16613 - A masterfully engineered bracelet isn't going to change that. Is it.

The glidelock and maxi make it an easy decision to upgrade IMO.

I would keep the 16613. I think it's one of the most beautiful watches ever made. I had one but I was in my early 30's and didn't feel comfortable wearing gold back then.
But it's always a great looking watch in the pictures. Nothing wrong with the new one, either but I prefer the slimmer lugs and "spiky" crown guards on the classic.

I opt for 16613 because of the yellowish date window that matches the bezel font.

For me 6 digit all the way. The heft, the ceramic, the bracelet - it just feels like a much better watch.
