You can't fake crud like that. I would take that baby to watchmaker for a real good cleaning, inside and out!

As noted by Mike, the 9315 fliplock clasp was used on many of the vintage subs. Also used was the 7206 rivet band with a regular clasp. In the USA, many came with the C I rivet bracelet, which didn't have a band number on the bracelet (most had two digits on the clasp indicating the year of production).
