I have 6 94’s plus quite a few 97’s. The 94 I haven’t opened but the 97 we’re all very nice

I should try one soon. They have to be fantastic, any loss in in the neck, how was the cork. Uggg I have to open these 1994 soon. I had some 1997, forget the vineyard though ? at the GTG last April, I’ll have to find the pictures but both were corked so bad. I was pissed, first time for everything though. Quite embarrassing but that’s what happens once in a while with this stuff

Cheers
Happy New Year
EDIT:
Also we also spent about 2 weeks in October in France/Italy
We had some outrageous Châteauneuf-du-Pape in France then in Florence Italy had a lot Brunello and Chianti. Both were fantastic and plentiful, wife loved the Chianti and always liked CdP. Can’t wait to go back and explore more.

In Mexico a few weeks ago visiting a Mexican ran into a 2002 Bordeaux which was fantastic. Had it at an outdoor barbecue place, stopped by a really nice wine store and got lucky on the choices at really decent prices and brought to the barbecue joint. Plastic forks and brought the wine glasses ourselves
