Datejust 16234 Help Please

Hi nice people!
I’ve recently acquired a great little 16234 DJ with a cream Roman dial.
I wonder if anyone knows if this was a color offered from the factory or has it patina’d?
Also I know that the rehaut is part of the case on a 6 digit but what about the 5’s?. The reason I’m asking is because whoever serviced it at some point has gauged it! I don’t know if you can tell from the picture but I would love to have it replaced.
Anyways thanks so much for taking the time to read and respond!

I can't chime in on if the creme dial is factory, but I will say that it looks beautiful! Congrats!

Looks nice. I'm not sure about the dial. RSC might be able to straiten it out for you.

Nice watch. Congrats.

The ones I know, in Romans, were all white, but have not heard about any patina in any. This was once in the Expl II, and for some period only.

I can recall this cream in some ladies', so may be original.

The rehaut is the case piece itself. It does not come as a ring that fits. So, no possible change, only repair , if bad, by filling material in. Or, case change.

Well thanks you guys for your input I really appreciate it. I’m going to send it to RSC Toronto because it’s 19 yrs old and I don’t know the history on it so I’ll see what comes from that. Thanks!

Nice looking watch but the damaged rehaut would discourage me. Repairs aren't cheap.

Hmm well maybe I’ll be learning to “unsee” it then!
