Opinions on Breitling Chrono SuperOcean
Tried two on today. The blue dial with white subdials and the silver dial with blue subdials. Very substantial watch at 42mm and heavy as hell. The silver dial really smiled at me. 4165 msrp, first offer 3500 from AD. I think I can do better but the recent price increase was pretty substantial, old MSRP was 3540. Anyone out there have experience with the chrono?
Thanks,

I don't have experience with this particular Aeromarine series watch, but it has the same caliber as my Chrono Avenger, very robust movement.
The Chrono SuperOcean has both day and date, which is very nice to have on a chrono, and this particular version does not make the dial too busy. See if you can get it at $3000 out the door.

Watchseller.com are good guys. I've dealt with David Loebel when I bought my 2599.80 Omega.
If you are in the US, he may still include cookies. I didn't any as it was considered international shipment and CDN customs would have confiscated it. Note: he ships via Fedex and I believe fedex only covers up to $500 for watches. You may want to inquire on other shipping methods.

Thanks. Right Vernon, if I do buy from him I will request USPS insured at full amount.

Hi, I have a breitling chrono super ocean: accuracy is great, very legible dials, not too large and weighs just right. Its deep dish with great great visibility and good lume at night. The day and date windows is also great if you need it. All in all a great tool watch... and best of all it has great water resistance.
You won't go wrong with this watch: you can use it for sports and for office use as well. good luck should you decide to buy it. I have the superocean chrono in white dial with blue subdials |

It's one of my favorite Breitlings as it reminds me a bit of a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, but it is at a much lower price point. It's also one of the few Breitlings that doesn't overcomplicate the dial. I hope they eventually come out with a few more variations though.
