Icon1 would you like to see the 114060 in a different dial colour?

I don't think I have seen this question asked on here before.

It was highlighted on a recent Watchbox video on YouTube, the 114060 is a reference that didn't come in any different dial colours (or metals).

Staying in stainless steel (as a tool watch) would you like to see the 114060 in a different dial colour? Green like the LV? Or a sunburst blue? A darkish red maybe?

Thank you for reading and participating in the poll.

Happy New Year!

Rolex Passion Report posted the idea last month of an 114060 with a dark blue dial. Not a bad idea if you wanted to boost sales but even the 114060 is sold out everywhere.

Personally I don’t see the need. It’s such a classic that it doesn’t need anything to make it more appealing.

I own an 114060 and have always wondered what a hulk bezel would look like on it.

I’d love a blue dialled (and bezel) 114060! I can’t see it happening this year though.

Not at the expense of the black. Prefer the plain ole black over any color. Plenty of color in the Rolex catalog to chose from. My 114060 needs to come in black.

Someone posted a Photoshop of a 114060 in a Hulk. Looked good.

The results surprise me. I thought more people would like a colour change as well.

I’ll take any variant sub with blue sunburst and dark blue bezel. Would prefer it on Smurf but would take it on ss too

It’s a classic. The grand-daddy of all professional models. I would leave it as-is.

You can have it in any color you like so long as it’s black.

Blue dial would be huge, Rolex should wait on this until a downturn.

No interest in the over bloated Sub in any color unless it first goes on a diet.

Let the Sub always be black ss only. Let the color variations in dials and bezels and PMs be on the Sub-Date models only.
