How you store your watches?

Hello all,

I’m looking for a nice display case to hold my watches in my closet. I prefer something with a clear lid so I can have the top closed but still get the pleasure of seeing all of the watches. I once saw a great case that sat vertically, with each watch sitting above the other. I can’t seem to find one for purchase, though. Anyone know who makes one? I’m also open to more traditional cases that sit horizontally.

Currently I have my watches in the plastic single case that my AD has given me. They’re actually great for storage if you keep your watches in a safe deposit box at the bank. Attached is a picture of my BLNR when not in use.

I cannot use the coffins as my wrist is too small and the watch will not fit the Styrofoam.

I actually bought a modern looking china cabinet for my office. It has glass doors and shelves inside. I used to display my watches in the original boxes all open. The cabinet was great because you can put the paperwork and outer boxes etc underneath behind doors. I have a few knick knacks like keychains and hats that I could also display.

I say "used to" because a few years ago my town had a series of random break ins. It was a ring of young folks that would grab phones and wallets from open cars in driveways and occasionally go around nice neighborhoods checking for unlocked doors and then grabbing jewelry etc.

I live in a beautiful nice suburb where you don't expect that kind of thing. But there it is.

Now everything sits in a bank vault and I only ever have one out at a time. Its a sad but necessary way to enjoy nice things.

I wish you luck and send a warning. I hope you never have such an issue. Luckily I never had an issue but I couldn't feel safe with them all on display.
