Guess what I did?

Rolex, no Panerai, no Rolex, no Panerai. I skipped them both and bought me a beautiful Baume & Mercier Classima 8786, and I love it. So neat, classy, blue hands, 42mm, clear back case, partially open face, beautiful dial and crocodile strap.

Happy, yes. Worries? It's pretty loud and you can hear it clicking and I'm worried I'd get fed up from winding it every other day.

Kind of too late/useless to ask but, how are baume and mercier in general? Quality, durability, resale value?

Macro? I'll try playing around with my digital camera and see what I can do.

I like B&M...good durable watches...these watches are for use and wear not much for resaling..but I really like them,..whoever I ask has owned a B&M, he says its durable like anything...and that classima is beuatiful my friend..enjoy it in good health..I think its a great ourchase..actually I love their capeland S XXL yellow carbon fibre dial diver but thats discontinued now..I mailed them why and they said we focusing on our classier lins cuz we are a classier kind of brand..and you got their classiest piece..so I thinkn it s a very good different purchase.

Thanks guys but guess what? I flipped it. :P

I talk on the phone with my left hand/ear, the clicking was so loud it drove me nuts. I talked to the AD and he was kind enough to return it, without a penalty and I got an Omega LE PO QoS. :)

Omega over B&M any day, but B&M isn't a bad watch.
