Florence - Ponte Vecchio AD
Just called past this excellent AD.
In the window was both dial versions of the Explorer 2, as well as an Explorer 1. Other than that, just the same as everywhere else I have seen in Europe....no other SS Professional models. However, the same AD has a store on the other side of the bridge and sell vintage pieces, they have two pre-ceramic Subs for sale. Sorry I can't be more specific, just wanted to give a quick heads up. |

Florence - Ponte Vecchio AD
Love the Ponte Vecchio AD! The quaint aesthetic with the multiple levels is mesmerizing. When I was there in September they had 2 explorer I in stock. Also loved the vintage / pre loved store across the bridge. Little over priced but saw some beautiful 16710s and a Tudor sub. Most of my family is still in Italy. Including a cousin who is a fellow WIS located a few minutes out of Florence in a town called Fiesole. He has a great relationship with The Ponte Vecchio AD. When I visited a few years ago they were stacked with SS models including both date and no date sub. GMT BLNR and LN. And a stainless Daytona.

I remember looking in the windows on the PV at some funky corums like 12 years ago. It’s been too long since I’ve been. We walked over after the uffizi.

Nice shop(s) there on the Ponte Vecchio in particular good stock of Patek Philippe. But... very expensive, we travelled to Pisa one day and prices were definitely lower. I believe the stores on the bridge think they can get a premium because of the location.

AD towards Florence city centre, about 15 minute walk from bridge had some SS models last year, including a TT Skydweller. Ended up with a Datejust 31 from an AD in Milan, who gave us a reasonable discount. Plus VAT refunded when we left the EU so a fairly good deal and a happy wife
