Wow. What an incredible story. I lost my father in Oct 17 and for our family things have not been the same. I cannot imagine losing my mother as well in a short time after.
This story gave me goose bumps, what incredible thoughts. Your parents are still giving you things in life and they are gone. Such as my father, with him being no longer here with us, regardless if its the way he set us up in the future or the way he made me a good man....he is still giving me and my brother gifts in life forever. Thanks for sharing.

May you remember them as fondly as they’ve loved you unconditionally.

Yeah, best story I’ve heard and probably will.

My deepest condolences to the OP. I’ve suffered the loss of my father so I know what it feels! Both parents in a short amount of time is really tough.

That Daytona is literally priceless.

So sorry for your loss. Your parents went way and beyond to get you this. They sound like wonderful people. Stay strong and wear it in good health. Maybe I missed it in one of the replies but I have no idea what's in the green box. What is it?

Condolences, very sorry to hear about your loss. Your parents loved you very much, and it's heartwarming to hear about their last parting gift. I didn't have the best of parents, but hearing stories like yours is great reassurance that there are many genuinely wonderful in the world. Thank you very much for sharing.

Rolex knows that many of their watches will mark great moments in the lives of the people that buy them or receive them. While a watch is no substitute for a parent's love, it can serve to be a tangible, lasting symbol of that love, which you can continue to see and touch for the rest of your life. Best of wishes and take care.

What an incredible and extremely moving story. This goes to show the immense love and care felt by all parents towards their children. I knew how your story will unfold, but it still brought me tears right from the first few lines.

Thank you all for your kind words. They continue to support the grieving process that is unlike anything Ive ever felt before. You can be feeling 100% ok and all of a sudden, the slightest thing reminds you of your parents or loved ones and you loose it. Happened to me today when I cleaned the dishes and it reminded me of my mom always saying to rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Stay strong my Rolex friends!!!!

Condolences on the loss of your parents. Touching story, and even until their death they wanted to make sure that they fulfilled that birthday gift for you. Your watches will remind you of the love your parents had for you.

This story is the definition of bittersweet. I'm sorry for your loss but hope you find comfort in knowing both your parents will always be with you in spirit and on your wrist.

Never take time with loved ones for granted all!
