Tudor GMT
I want to buy a Tudor GMT for my dad. The previous generation Rolex GMT used to be what I would buy him, but those prices have become ridiculous and I'm not sure they are ever returning to earth.
Are the Tudor GMTs that are currently being sent to ADs still suffering from date issues? I would hope that Rolex would have fixed the issue by now and aren't sending any more bum Tudor GMTs to ADs. Why didn't Rolex ever acknowledge there was a problem, and does anyone know what the problem was? I would prefer NOT to buy a watch that needs fixed right out of the gate. It would be nice if we didn't have to open the watch until its first service. There are too many chances for the watch to get damaged and not come back factory-perfect. |
