My first Seiko...

Hi, friends. Making what I believe is my first post in the Seiko subforum, and happily, it is to share my recent acquisition of a lovely srpc91 (Turtle, Save the Ocean)! I had been eyeing an SKX007 for quite a while, as I always thought the Turtles would just be too big for me. But when I saw pictures of that blue dial...wow, what an easy decision.

I've had this piece for about a month, and it really holds its own in my little collection and rotates nicely with my Tudor Bronze and Speedy. It is incredibly comfortable, really hugs the wrist, and wears smaller than my other pieces and much smaller than I thought it would. It runs about +30 seconds/day, but that's nothing a hacking every few days can't fix and actually doesn't bother me much at all. Though a relatively inexpensive piece, the Turtle is rock solid, easy on the eyes, and a real pleasure to strap on. Without further ado, here is today's wrist shot. Looking forward to hanging around here more.

-Isaac

I'm trying to hold off for now, but it's so tempting!

After seeing pictures I was curious what a blue save the oceans turtle is running these days, typically found around $350. But found a stock of them on eBay for $99... have y’all seen these faked? Or is that just a great deal? Anytime something is too good to be true...it usually is. Ha
