Nutty Daytona price..

I was browsing on Chrono24 and came upon a Daytona "APH" dial with a ridiculous price. Not sure if I can take the seller seriously with his asking price.

https://www.chrono24.com/rolex/dayto...id10017265.htm

Apparently the "APH" dials have a slight premium with European sellers.

Can someone define what the APH dial is? Does it have to do with the lume or what? Weird.

Here's a thread on it. It looks like the "-APH" is just a little separated from the "COSMOGR-" portion of COSMOGRAPH.

The price is surreal; like it's a prank or something.

It’s real interesting how an “error” becomes more collectible!
What’s more interesting and puzzling to me is how bad can rolex quality assurance to release error dials!!
I guess you really can’t get better than this, your errors and mistakes earn more money!

I better be careful in the operating room because I’m dead sure my errors won’t be “collectible”!!

They are obviously not worth 100k but it seems by looking at the rest of the APH for sale they are around 5-6k higher than non aph...are they considered more valuable????

Kept that watch for 12 hours, not long enough to pay attention to the letters. Couldn’t sell it fast enough.

No thank you
