How often should you have to adjust?

Have an omega chrono diver, 2225.80 I believe. Seems like every two weeks it need nudged up a minute or two. My speedmaster 3513.50 was the same, maybe a little more. So, I find them a minute or two behind, but never ahead.

I was just curious at to how often owners of similar watches were adjusting the time.

Mine is running +1 to +2 right now. I don't really adjust very much. When I do, I set it about 30 secs back and know i'll be good for a month or so.

I usually adjust the watch every week... but I do not care that much about the seconds being the same as in an atomic clock.. just a minute adjust...

Two minutes every couple of weeks is too much of a variance and the watch should be capable of better timing..

Two minutes each month should be about 4 seconds per day and a reasonable expectation.. Take it in and have them check the timing for you.... it shouldn't cost anything unless you want them to adjust it, and then a nominal charge will get it much closer to something you can live with....

I'm seeing under +2 per day, and I adjust once a fortnight.

I probably should start setting it to -14s when I set it, too, but can't quite bring myself to set a watch deliberately to the "wrong" time :)
