How to obtain a MOP dial for a Datejust 31

Hey Chaps!

Not sure if this is the right section but here we go. Where is the best source for a MOP dial for a Date just 31 like the one pictured? I have bought my wife one of these 178271s and it has the pink dial that she doesn't like. I suppose I will sell that here.

Any good ideas?

Regards,

James

If it is a model that offers the MOP dial from factory, then RSC will allow the dial swap, at associated cost to you.
Your local AD may be able to assist you in that regard, and I do believe that model is offered with said dial.

That is correct. Probably not an easier way around it I suppose. What cost would you estimate?

I can’t really answer the question of cost. A MOP dial wouldn’t be cheap... Call RSC and see if they can give you any idea.
I still think it would be the cheaper route as opposed to selling, and having a new purchase..?!

Not to worry! Thanks for the help! Yea, I found a deal with the wrong dial but that as you say is an easy fix.

Unfortunately, the MOP with diamond dial will likely be about $4500 from RSC, and that includes the trade in of your old dial.

That's good to know. Might need to swap watches then...or live with it. Or get lucky and find one floating around.
