Help with model
I’m purchasing a new submariner and can’t decide if I want gold and steel or all steel. In typically buy vintage and this will be my second new purchase. (Last time was over 15yrs ago). Any suggestions...I’m literally torn between the two

I second the blue dial TT. However, many folks on this forum hate TTs so be prepared. However, try them on, you will know pretty quick which one..

Bluesy all the way.
For steel, I prefer the SD43 as my black on black diver. |

I am not a TT guy at all. I like ss and all pm's, but not a mix of both. Just my opinion.

You should go visit the ADs near you. Calling doesn’t work now. Tell them you are ready to buy and maybe one will appear. You might have to get on a wait list if no one has one available. Good luck. |

I hit four AD’s today, 3 said Rolex doesn’t allow a list and the other claims to have over 100 people waiting. I’m in the Boston area and hit the suburban dealers. Thinking I may buy one on the grey market which kills me to pay more than retail

Ouch, there several incoming posts last week where members found Sub Dates sitting in display cases. I hope you get so lucky. Hang in there.
