Casual Calatrava

Just got some new kicks for my 5296g sector dial from Bulang and Sons. Provides a really nice contrast to the shiny navy gator strap that it comes with and the quick release spring bars makes strap changes a breeze. I am really loving the versatility of this watch. Cheers!

Factory strap for comparison:

Looks lovely as a wrist shot, and compliments it

I see some straps which do nothing for the watch, but yours bravo

Your photos of this watch over the last few weeks have been fantastic (and very enabling).

I appreciate it! It’s like two watches in one. That’s at least how I sell it to the wife. That way I can spread what it costs over two watches....

Ha. Trying to decide if that comment is your veiled opinion of the watch. But thanks! It is a nice strap.

Genuine complement. Reminds me of the Hermes leather. It looks really nice on your sector dial... it definitley makes it more casual which feels likee the strap and the watch was meanth to go together like that.

That looks great. I really like strap changes on the calatrava line.

I wonder what this would look like on a 5196.

Well thanks Fat Ninja. I agree Hermes leather was the first impression I had. I also agree that the watch lends itself to a more casual strap. I think I’ll leave it casual. You put the bug in my head for a 5712R which could be my future office watch...
