Ultra-Violet is the in-colour. Would you buy a GMT in that shade of Purple?
The latest marketing hype says that the trend is towards shades of purple with ultra-violet setting the scene.
Would this be a colour you could see yourself being drawn to if it was the bezel, the dial or both? There is even talk of a purple gold being introduced by some watch manufacturers. Now that's something different to the rose gold we've been used to. |

Maybe Rolex will introduce interchangeable fashion color bezels - can make your Submariner look cute no matter what you're wearing or whatever the trendy "it" color might be.

Oh, it's DEFINITELY The Joker!
 Purple is not my thing, but I must say that the cerachrome in the render is attractive. It's the nicest purple I've seen on any piece of jewelry. Purple fans would love it, but I suspect there is a very small segment of the Rolex-wearing population that would go for it. I like it more than the Blue/Black of the BLNR though. I think I even prefer it to the new BLRO. But not as much as my old school 16710 BLRO.

I quite like purple, I'm a Vikings fan, and like the Joker nickname too, but can't see it working on a watch, AP have some purple models out and it's not for me.
