Batman of course. With only 6 years in production it is much much rarer and if it really is going to be discontinued from 2019 onwards then wow...
It is unique looking and is the first GMT with the Blue/Black bezel. This watch will be highly sought after year after year and may become another Rolex vintage classics one day. |

I think the premiums out there on the current LV and BLNR over the LNs is ridiculous. Eventually those prices will converge, whether LNs go up or color dial/bezels crash. None of these watches are true limited editions. $3k just for a color change/fashion statement, no thank you.

Try a 16710 and you can have your choice of three different bezels all in one watch.

Unique is not following the FOLO crowd. I don't really see the attraction for the two tone bezels. Hell, if you can't figure out AM/PM, night/day you likely can't afford a good watch. If it were me I'd go with the LN!!!

I loved my LN for two years and it just didn’t quite distinguish itself as a GMT, just seemed too similar to a sub to me. I just picked up the blnr this past week and it screams GMT! I think it’s one of the most modern future classics made.
You can’t go wrong with either one but I’d have to vote BLNR. Best of luck with the purchase. |

I’d say go for what you REALLY want. Even if it means holding out a little while longer to get one at MSRP from an AD (if that’s even an option). I would prefer a new watch, not to say there aren’t many good examples available. In the end, I went with the LN because it was what I wanted from the start. In my opinion it is more versatile.

The all-around BLNR is much better than the ubiquitous LN, IMHO.

Years ago before the major hype of today, if I saw the LN in the wild I’d think “nice watch, love it”
When I would see the BLNR my heart would skip a beat. Only saw it twice in the wild and both times I though “holy shit, that is one of the best looking watches I’ve ever seen”. It just absolutely popped beyond belief. Very thankful I have the BLNR. But I wouldn’t mind an LN on a brushed steel bracelet as well to complement it as GMT style watches are my thing, and would be a more ‘useable’ piece for my needs. I don’t travel with the BLNR as I always scratch up my watches somehow in airports and on planes. But if I’m out with the Mrs on an afternoon / evening, the sheer joy of opening that box and seeing the BLNR and being able to wear it is a wonderful thing. It’s one of the coolest Rolexes out there and I enjoy sparingly |
