The original bakelite "flat 1" bezel is in stunning condition, showing no cracking and very light wear. The crown appears to have been replaced at some point with a later era service crown. DIAL & HANDS The gorgeous matte dial is in excellent vintage condition. The lume plots have aged to a unique dark green coloration. The original tritium lume is reminiscent when inspected under U.V. light, but most has worn off the lume plots over time. The original and period correct hour and minute hands have been relumed with tritium to match the dial, the sweep seconds hand retains its original lume. The pinhole at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions is visible when viewed under a loupe. ACCESSORIES None. The watch is keeping time accurately but the extended service history is unknown.
