I’d buy the ETA BBB based on potential future appreciation alone. The 58 can be snagged anytime.

BB 58 is much better balanced and has a very nice vintage look.

Seriously.. I feel BB58 was made just to please folks who couldn't wear the regular 41mm Black Bay. I mean, think the market its competing with Omegas and Breitlings where 45 or 46 mm is the norm! Now folks want 39mm even for a sports diver watch!

Perfect. I feel BB in Blue is the only modern reference. Rest all are throw back versions with fake patina!

I prefer the eta bb and wear it daily.the 58 is a bit small imo and I hate the rivit bracelet on the 58

At some point troglodytes decided the size of their watch represented their masculinity. The oversized watch trend is a fad on its way out.

OP, get the BB58.

41mm is not oversized. If 39 and 40 are normal (BB 58 and Sub), so is 41mm. Just extra 1mm is not going to kill anyone. Don't see the point!
