Suggestions for getting a Tudor Pelagos regulated in NYC?

I picked up a beautiful two liner with the 2824 movement and am excited that I could have the watch worked on if need be without going through a RSC. Now that I have it I'd like to have it regulated (it's slow about 8 seconds a day) and be sure the waterproofing seal is put back in good shape. Can anyone recommend a place in NYC where I can have this type of work done?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn’t touch it for 8 sec. Why not try and find a routine to improve its accuracy ie set it down in different positions at night to see if you can even it out.

If you’re going to have it opened why not just get it serviced, regulated and re-sealed? Won’t cost that much from an Indy.

Being a two liner it could be from 2012 or so, if it has lost any accuracy from new then regulating it is a band aid anyway as it’s probably ready for a service.

It always amazes me what’s expected out of these mechanical watches. It’s a mechanical device, accuracy will be affected by state of wind, temperature, position, wear time, rest time, your activity etc etc.

8 sec per day, what’s acceptable accuracy for an eta?

I understand where you are coming from 100%. I was just thinking since it's a couple years old and I am not sure of it's exact history I would feel good about having it opened, looked at regulated and closed so I could be confident everything is kosher inside & it's got a proper waterproof seal. I was just wondering if there was someone I could trust to do this work for me and may be less expensive than taking it to Rolex. I suppose if it's a watch I am invested in maybe it's worth it to have Rolex give it a service this time.
