I own Sub C, that I love. Gets the most wear. I like the YM everose, are these two overlaps... need for both is a stretch?

Yes, they're really, really similar. Let's not pretend otherwise. But you should still totally get both if you want.

I have a BLNR and sooner or later I'll pop for a two-tone sub. Yes, it's basically the same watch in a different colour with different bezel markings, but who cares? And at least the YM is a little more different from a sub than a GMT is.

(The rose gold YM has also been in my crosshairs. It's a lovely watch.)

Are you saying that a BLNR and a TT sub are basically the same watch????

I go back and forth. The YM is pretty different though. But yeah, has 3 hands, tells the time... Much more distinctive and unusual in the wild. Smoother and really comfy case.

So I also have a sub C, but I am a big fan of the YM TT in RG with the black dial.

Personally I don't think there's redundancy between both for the following reasons:
1- I actually like the case on the YM more than the sub; the curved sides of the case and the smaller lugs make it look a lot sleeker
2- the matte black dial on YM is outstanding in person; I also prefer it to the shiny black dial of the sub. The contrast of the RG hour markers against the flat black is a detail you need to see in person to appreciate
3- The shade of rose gold is really nice and makes it really stand out in a sea of YG
4- it has the newer 3235 movement with 70 hours power reserve as opposed to the older movement on the sub

I think I will get it at some point, but I have other pieces I need to get first
