Icon10 dmb359 - State of the Collection (SOTC 2019)

Don't think I've ever posted a pic of the current collection, and with some changes made this year, I figured I'd post up a picture.

I have pretty eclectic tastes, and like watches of all shapes and sizes and prices. I've had a lot of watches come and go, but this is where I'm currently at.

Not sure any more changes are coming this year, but there's a few pieces that may move on at some point.

I'm not a big fan of overly dressy watches, or gold watches, although possibly a two tone or rose gold at some point.

The 2 core pieces that I'm looking to add at some point are a white dial Daytona and a PP 5167 on black rubber (yes, I know I'll be waiting a while, as I'm not looking to pay the current gray pricing). I wouldn't mind adding a GS snowflake, a 116610LV (at retail), and maybe a PAM176 (used to have one) either.

Feel free to leave feedback (good or bad, lol) and ideas for future additions.

Nice group and thanks for sharing. Love the GO moon phase in the middle. I've been eyeing adding one of those myself

I really like that blue dial YM. I have really been warming to YMs and YMIIs lately. I might need to short list one for my collection at some point.

I love it, the gray dial and white dial versions both look terrific.

It's a great watch, I'm surprised it isn't more popular

Very nice and varied collection, impressive. If you are considering rose gold, I was able to try this on at my AD and it is stunning in person.

If I could pick a two tone right now, that would be the one. I've tried one on too, and it looks great.

Beautiful collection. How do you like the GO PanomaticLunar? I am interested in picking one up, but I've read its proportions (specifically, being a bit tall for its diameter) can cause it to sit a bit awkwardly on the wrist. Has this been an issue for you?

Love the collection. How is the Tudor Prince Chrono, I was looking at possibly the Tiger.
Also, I might opt for the Snowflake. Those are nice as well.

Nice collection and I like your plans for the future with it.

I'm a big fan of that Seiko 7A28 on the bottom row. I have a Seiko RAF Gen 1 which is a similar design and uses the same movement. If it were me, I'd lose the Hublot (the AP is a better version of the same thing IMHO), the YM and then use the cash for a Daytona.

Love it. The height has been no issue for me, I like the case size.

Love it. My favorite Tudor. I used to have a white and sold it, and now the black. I was surprised at the jubilee too, I like the tudor jubilee on it.

The Hublot, the B&R, and the Oris may move on. Love the YM too much though.

I have the cash to buy a Daytona when it comes up at my AD, not interested in spending the gray price though.

just a standard superjubilee (model 63600) with some 1.8mm spring bars. Fits no problem.

Some pieces I'd add:

AP ROO
Tudor BB
Any A. Lange & Söhne
Fluted Datejust on jubilee
Oris Aquis

Fantastic!
I’ve been more intrigued by Bell & Ross lately. I love how their steel bracelets look. How do you like yours does it get much wrist time?

Good ideas. ROO doesn't really do it for me, i do like the chrongraphs though. ALS would be pretty high up my list as well.

I do like it. The case size and thickness is great, its very comfortable. It doesn't get a lot of wrist time (which is why I may end up parting with it), but I do wear it every couple weeks or so.
