Which Rolex Submariner is this?
Hi Guys,
Been a long time since I've posted. I received a Rolex Submariner from my grandfather as an inheritance. The watch does not have a quick set date and I believe it was purchased in the mid 70s-early 80s. It's water resistent up until 200M and has 93150 on the inside of the bracelet with 580 on the end piece. I can take more pictures of the dial if it helps but without opening the watch that's most of the details I can share. Any ideas? Best, Scott |

If it’s just about the reference google has had helped you within 2 seconds. Nevertheless it’s a white 1680.

Pretty much all you need to know is on this link. (Service insert on your 1680, just FYI).

If you do not want to take of the bracelet you can date it approximately by looking at the date code on the bracelet. It looks like your 1680 might still have the original bracelet and it should have holes all the way on the sides of the clasp, indentations at the end and the date code will be on one of the the blades. My guess is VC, VD, or maybe just C or D.
