Ha, I have a similar story to you.
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=541840 I eventually sold the Sub within a year of getting it and wore the Explorer exclusively until last December. Added the BB58. |

My first purchase was a 114060, which was a wedding watch and was really tough for me to pull the trigger. After that it got a lot easier..126660 James Cameron 7 months later and SD43 2 months after that.
I think I'm good now lol |

What a coincidence. I just got my first Rolex - Explorer 214270 a couple of days ago and wear it all the time. While I really enjoy this watch for some weird reason I keep thinking of buying another Rolex. I think I need help.

Got a GMT and about 3 months later wanted a SubC date which took a month to secure. Want to get a few more but because of the challenges with the SS shortage, I’m looking at other brands now.

1996 DJ
2006 DJ (new style) 2016 Air King (new style) 2018 Daytona C (worth breaking my rule) itching for a Gold Day Date for my 50th Bday. 10 years to the day. I told myself I would buy one every 10 years. That lasted for 20 years. Once I got number three a new Daytona C broke my 10 year rule. Now I am out of control. |

Brand new to this forum! Thanks for having me!
Got a two toned sub (116613LN to be specific) last summer and within the month asked to be put on the waitlist for a Hulk and a Batman. Still waiting unfortunately! |

First was a 114060. 4 months later GMT LN. Happened way too easily!
