I used to wear SD4K during golf but it threw off my swing. I'm sure my Rolex could take the game but my game cold not take the Rolex.

I always wear a watch! Mowing lawn, working on my car, swimming, doing things around the house, and playing golf!! I wear whatever is in my rotation!! Rolex, omega, tag, and seiko!! Never a problem! I usually play 2 or 3 rounds a week!! Oh, and by the way, I impress no body!!

I have actually been wearing my 16710 to play golf for years and without incident, just making sure the watch wasn't on "borrowed time" because of it. And for the comment around impressing people with the watch, I wear whatever I am wearing solely for my enjoyment. Some days it s a WGDD, some days it s $300 Seiko diver I bought on Amazon. In fact, that is what I am wearing now:-) I just love watches and hate not having one on my wrist no matter what I am doing.

Golf will not hurt your watch. But if you are standing over your ball thinking about a watch then the watch will be hurting your golf game.

Does Top Golf count? I've hit a few hundred balls there and my LN is still ~+0.5 seconds per day.

Yes but sometimes I'll take it off if I'm trying to hit the ball through the windmill or into the hippo's mouth.

Anyone else here play golf while wearing their watch?
I personally don't but you certainly can if you want to.

I was wondering about the shocks particularly on fat hits. Now I don't swing over 100 mph any longer but I do average over 240 rounds per year. I putt with my glove on and play with my watch on. I seldom take one off unless in the shower and I suppose I don't need to do that.

For me, I find the watch uncomfortable to wear while golfing. So it goes into my bag till I'm done. No issues wearing it while running though.

I could not imagine playing with any watch, that would just annoy me. I would have zero concerns for the watch itself.

The watch can easily sustain wear while golfing, but my watch stays in a case in my bag while on the course. In most cases, I don’t care what time it is while I’m playing golf. I make it to the first tee on time, and figure it will be ~2 hours to the turn and ~4 hours to finish the round. As much as I enjoy my watches, I don’t see the need to wear them on the course.
