Its a real shame that the currency markets dictae so many things around the world, my own business has seen price increases due to the euro and dollar and some of my solid oak and walnut frooring has had to increase by 25%, a cost which as a small business i cannot afford to fund.

i think rolex and ohter major brands are worried about these increases but reality is that even a basic model will be out of reach of the normal person in the high street so ther will be no entry level purchases or there will be but not with the same high demand.

England and the UK is the best place to buy a rolex at the moment and as Tempoking writes, if yu can export it out of the eu. even better because of the vat saving.

The other option is to purchase the watch from Mapping and Webb at terminal 5 where you can purchase the watch tax free, no matter where you are travelling to.

if you bring the watch back into the uk you are meant to declare it, ( yeh right)

mappin & Webb's contact number 0044 (0) 208 283 6300 best person to speak to is Natalia, she is lovely in more ways than one......

hope this helps

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray with my Rolex as I keep.
If I should loose it before I wake,
I pray the Lord they return their take.

Now I have my eyes a closed,
I pray to Rolex their prices wont go,
If I should lose my next new chance,
I pray the AD discount will be great in France.
