Ap roo ss vs rolex ym2 ss

Torn in between the 2 timepieces. Which one would likely would hold value. I really liked them both but I can only have one.
I have SS Daytona Black and 2 tone Panda, Submariner SS, Panerai Luminor and Sppedmaster Blue dial.

Thanks for your input and thoughts.

I have had both, considering you have a few of the Rolex, give the AP a try. They are beautiful

Yes go for the AP and try to forget about resale being the most important thing, it really is the scourge of our hobby now.

Not the KangaROO 🦘

I would go with the YM2 as it’s a more robust watch albeit a limited function watch.

ym2 definitely cannot hold value, so the ROO.

No contest, AP ROO over the YM2 any day of the week. I know we have a few that like YM2 but amongst the entire Rolex line-up it has to one of the least popular. You often see them in stock at the AD even in this SS craze and shortage.

Thanks so much guys. I couldn't appreciate you more on your thoughts and insights. The ROO is pre-owned in F serial for $15k and the SS YM2 Brand new is same price as the pre-owned ROO. It's going to be tough as I will pull the trigger later today.

I have owned booth. The Rolex movement is better. Never been a fan of the DD setup on the ROO.

The yacht-master II is a very specific aesthetic. If you don't already know that you love it, there's a good chance it's not for you.

I personally just can't get over the name of the watch on the bezel. I understand that something had to fill that space, but... ehh.

I know most people that don't like it it's for that name on the bezel. I appreciate the opinion bud.

Thanks Bud. I tried the YM2 and it sits good on my wrist and even the wifey likes it. Probably the reason I liked the ROO is just because I don't have and never owned an AP yet that's why.

I appreciate. Maybe I'll wait for a newer series than the F series I was looking for.
