Rolex on a diet!
Does the weight of a Rolex matter?

I'd say yes in the sense that earlier, lighter references are quite comfortable to wear, almost feel like one with my wrist. Something I can't say of my 6 digit in both SS and PM

Are these weights on a full bracelet? All on oyster? Or alternatively all sized for the same wrist? Otherwise the comparison is tricky. Regardless, cool piece of info !

I pulled the list off of Google. It appears to be full bracelet, oyster and a blend of metals. Good questions. |

I personally find my BLNR substantially less comfortable than my Patek 5066a, at least partially because it is so much heavier...

Not really, I find from 100-240g I seem to forget I'm wearing a watch at all after a few minutes. I suppose after a long sweaty day, I will take off the 200g plus watches quicker but then that's the same with my trousers.

Cant speak for the other references but I took these pics a few months ago with my last pick up, the 116655. I wanted to compare the weight of the PM vs the SS. All have full links as sent from the factory. No mods of any kind. The PM OF is 1 strap size longer on one side. I’d think that would be minimal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The 116688 Yacht Master II with a full gold bracelet weighs 253 grams. I think that is as heavy as Rolex gets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/QUOTE] |

I weighed a WG Pepsi 116719BLRO at 208 grams with two links taken out. With all links I think it’s about 222g.
