What do you think ?
Hi guys I am looking to buy an UNWORN 16618 Rolex Submariner.
Do you think that these websites/watches are legitimate ? Thanks http://www.dream-watches.co.uk/watchsingle.asp?id=552 and http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Rolex/S...788-watch.aspx Thanks ? |

I would Google the heck out of them and see if you find them mentioned on the net or on other forums.
Also do a search here on TRF. This site is a great reference. Here is one I turned up on a simple Google search! DOES NOT look good! http://forums.watchnet.com/index.php...to=69989&rid=0

Dream watches are perfectly legitimate.
Dane was a great Guy to deal with in my experience. Watchfinder are also a legitimate watch dealer, but I have personally not dealt with them. |

Never forget there is a lot of very close fakes and if you buy without see the watch it's very easy to find pics of genuine watches out there. And not forget we have a financial crisis and that made people do stupid things. So think twice before you deal and if it's to good to be true, it's not. Good luck. jocke

I would agree also that you should purchase from either a local AD or local grey dealer. Someone you can go back to if you should have issues.

The bottom line is : I will go to an AD as you and another member stated ! paying £13,000 ($18,000) is not worth it for both companies having some good and some bad, although I would like to think that I would be in the good section when buying as it were, I can't help but to think that there is a possibility that the watch will go wrong or the process will go wrong and I will loose out etc... Thanks Still if there are any sites/places in the UK that have one please can anyone let me know ! Many thanks |

I agree. AlanFurman.com has a very good reputation although I have not dealt with them myself, I would not hesitate to do so.
