Rolex moonphase 50535 (cellini)

This piece like all cellinis seems to get no love. Does anyone own it, and can post some pics? How do you like it>

I do not own one but I have handled that watch quite a few times and I must say it is absolutely magnificent. It is just as robust as any other Rolex, yet has the fine looks of a patek or lange.

Very sharp; I'd have to wear in on a nato however.

It's my favorite watch right now. The way it looks and feels on the wrist is unparalleled by anything else I own.

It's a magnificent watch. Love the little detail of the meteorite moon.
If you see this up close, who wants a sports watch ?

All collections need a good dress watch.

Anyone who doesn't consider the Cellini or under estimates its qualities needs their heads looking at.
Just my 0.02.

These Moonphase photos look incredible by the way.

I tried one on a few months ago on a whim. I was floored. It’s amazing.

Looks good on the front, but how is movement finishing? Wouldn’t feel right to have normal sports watch rough finishing in a piece like this.

That would be my reservation as well but Rolex's finishing isn't horrible and it does have a closed caseback. Still, it's a hard sell when one can buy a new Lange Saxonia Moonphase for less money.

Yes, beautiful as this one is I’d take Lange over Rolex dress watch every time.

I tried on with a diamond bezel. It was spectacularly understated. I'm not sure how you understate a diamond bezel, but Rolex can.
