Rare Chronoliner-Santa Fe

Visited a Breitling-Rolex dealer in Santa Fe.

After looking over my Submariner and talking 1680s from the 1960s-
he presented a Breitling Chronometer Chrono that he stated they only made less than 200 versions. Not aware of that.

This Breitling was SS and quite heavy for a 43mm. Heavier noticeably
than a Rolex Sea Dweller of any description. If based on case size and massive construction-it should be VERY shock resistant. Any ideas on this model?

No Photos-sorry.

I think you are talking about the Chronoliner boutique edition. This comes in SS and Rose gold.

It is limited edition for sure but 200 is very small number and certainly not true.

The Chronoliner pictured above was limited to Breitling Boutiques only. It came with a B04 in-house movement and was limited to 100 pieces! It had a 3-6-9 layout while the original non in-house Chronoliner had a 6-9-12 layout.

Regardless of quantity that is a handsome watch. Does everything too: chronograph, GMT, date, etc.. 46mm though, at 43 would have been perfect for my wrist.

Non- limited blue edition but this was discontinued quickly as well as limited edition was being launched in blue as well.

Would have liked to buy a limited (only 100) ss chronoliner with in house movement. Unfortunately too low production number to find.

Thanks. May make my decision a little tougher...navi or chronoliner. Did the limited ever come on ss mesh? Thanks again.

As with most Breitling watches you can put them on any combination that you would like, leather, croc, bracelet and or mesh. For a bracelet each watch will have specific end links that you will required, the mesh bracelets do not require specific end links, just the right lug size.

To answer your question, yes it did, I bought mine with the rubber strap and deployant buckle and was gift the mesh strap and a tang rubber strap by the boutique!
