I am sure he or she has encountered a lot of customers who get vitriolic, angry or even abusive if told that the watches are available but not to them.

If your AD rep knew for a fact that you are the sort of guy who can actually handle the truth, I seriously doubt he would want to lie to you.

But since or she doesn’t know, I can see why the choice to lie to you was made.

This makes perfect sense to me. Anyone who has worked a day in the service industry can understand why the AD may have been less than forthcoming.

I've noticed that in US that is alot of that so waiting time. You can mostly find all this watches in others AD around Europe.

It can be stopped (or hampered) if Rolex honours the original buyers warrantee only .

They will never do that and it might not even be legal anyways.

It appears that you already have a nice watch, the BLRO, the means to buy any other watch you want, so why not just kick back and enjoy life. I have a nice GMT too, I’d like a BLRO myself, but if I never get one, I’ll be fine. Running yourself ragged over a watch is not going to help your health.

Perhaps take up a new hobby in the mean time. I build scale model ships myself, it’s rewarding.
