Advice please
I tried this on this morning and I really like it, I’ve decided against the bmg submersible due to the 47mm size. Is this chrono a sensible Panerai to buy?

If you like it then buy it. It will be a less common PAM which I think is a good thing.

No watch purchase is really sensible. However this looks good on your wrist. If you like it, then get it.

I'm not a fan of the complex Pams, they've gone too far from Panerai's DNA.......but what does my opinion matter? If you like it, buy it

It’s “sensible” if you love it.

Given your sense of style, the PAM fits perfectly with your outfit. It’s not a traditional PAM, but it’s certainlynunique and since PCYC is now discontinued, Panerainwont be making any more of these!

Big fan! I have the sister PAM654 and was a bit between these two when deciding - ultimately went with the white face since I don't have any of those in my small collection yet. Its basically the same watch so can confirm it wears very comfortably at 44mm and the vertical clutch chrono is super smooth. As others have said its a unique one and the boutique rep told me only 800 of each were made (500 T series, 300 U series) and as they just launched the new PYC line I'm assuming that's the case. Read somewhere else that Panerai no longer sponsors the classic yacht challenge so who knows, maybe these will be collectible some day

I also have the 654 'sister'. Love it.
No date is a big plus, auto keeps life simple. A smooth chrono. Retro looks. Quick strap change - big plus for me. Nice size for all. I like that the pushers are the n the left side. ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk |
