New bezel for my Day-Date!

I had a NOS 18078 bark bezel installed yesterday to replace the aftermarket diamond bezel on my new-to-me Day-Date. Step one of getting this thing back in tip top shape is complete! I love the bark and the way this bezel looks on the watch. Have a great Sunday all!!

Did not get it done at a RSC?

Nice work. I am also curious what that cost to revert it back.

I bought the bezel from a seller here on TRF and had it put on by a local watchmaker. I paid $750 for the bezel. I was in a hurry and it doesn’t seem like there are many NOS 18078 bezels on the market so I just went for it. I’m sure it’s still less than a new gold bezel from RSC would have been.

I’m going to send the watch off to RSC and the bracelet to Michael Young. Ultimately I want to have the dial, hands and crystal replaced.
