Do you have any idea how boring any forum would be if everyone only liked the same watches. Nothing wrong with them not singing to you, good for you for trying and making your own choice.

No worries bro. I'm serious when I say good onya for trying them on. I have done that myself with other brands. I know they are good, they look awesome in pics, but when I put them on they just fall flat. Nothing worse than buying something you are cold on, it is only going to fail if that's the case. You did right.

i couldn't agree more. I have tried on so many watches that look amazing in pics and they just don't do anything for me in person. C'est la vie.

Plenty more watches in the sea

You'll cross over at some point, trust me.

Rolex is usually the first watch to really bit people and then once you get a better apprecoiation of what else is out there and that Rolex is really not the end all be all in watches, you'll cross over, TRUST ME!

That being said, I too am wearing this beast today...

The beauty of this hobby is that there is something for everyone. The particular brand is nearly as important as the feeling and pride it gives.

I couldn't agree more, very well said! An online community is all about diversity, in both backgrounds and tastes, this is what I love about these places. I may not agree with another persons opinion or feelings towards a brand but the collective thrill of experiencing these incredible pieces of ingenuity and craftsmanship is what gets me reading every post and comment.

No apologies necessary, I appreciate your honesty in sharing your opinion. I just sold my Rolex but I will own another again in the future.

Panerai ~ you either get it,or you dont.If you dont, its just a question of time before you do !! ... Thats a positive !!

2 weeks ago was staring at some Rollies in an ADs window ... YM Plattie,Greenie Millie and DSSD OGEV XXXX et al....and I couldnt believe, that less than a year ago I was chasing them down

Whatever makes one "tick" !!
