Icon20 RSC (USA) new policy on 2nd owner warranty???

Hi Everybody!

Will RSC honor 2 year warranty to me even if the name on warranty card is different??? Someone from WTF told me that RSC (USA) now have changed their policy this year about 2nd owners??? that the warranty follows the watch now??? Just like Rolexes policy everywhere outside the US!

The person was told this by a BH RSC employee...
Does anyone know if this is true???

Thanks!

I don't know about RSC but my local AD does not care who's name is on the card as long as the warranty period has not expired. They are a "by the book AD" also, so I have always been kinda suspicious when people say that 2nd hand owners void the warranty. Hopefully they have changed the policy, it's only fair.

You would it would be the same policy here in the U.S. like everywhere else outside the U.S.

well, hopefully this is true! Im gonna take my LV in for a warranty fix... the crown is grinding and bezel markers are not lining up with the dial markers. I got it NIB (w/stickers still on) and I have 16 days left on warranty.

I know that Rolex Canada will not honour 2nd owner warrantee.

Unless the AD has an in-house Rolex watchmaker, they can't extend the offer to a second-owner because they send the watches to Rolex Canada and would also have to submit the paper work to declare it within the warrantee as the AD doesn't want to cover the costs.
