I love the platinum pieces. Absolute stealth.

Having said that I love the PM CHNR. My AD had one of these in, even better in person, more coppery tone than traditional rose gold.

All of this watch porn is not only addictive, but hazardous to the wallet (and I just love it).

It's great to see so many like-minded folks really enjoying their watches (even if I may not necessarily choose some of the pieces myself), I still get a kick out of seeing someone so besotted with their watches.

Not intending to derail the thread, but I often wonder how it is that I can derive so much enjoyment from wearing and/or often just gazing admiringly at something like a watch, numerous times a day, every single day of the week (even if it's sometimes only just for an instant).

Is it the design, the precision, the fact that it is so delicate yet so robust, can last a lifetime and beyond (especially in a consumerist age where disposable and cheaply built cr@p is increasingly becoming king) - or could it be a combination of all of those factors?

Anyone else ever wonder at why we love this stuff so much? Or, could it be that we are just a plain old bunch of showoffs?
