Stickered hulk and Oyster Batman in safe?

Assuming you can find a pair for around $30-$32k full stickers and shove them in a safe. What’s the over/under call on this gents?

$40k this time next year for NOs?

You lose money. There’s is a just max to what ppl will pay for watches still in production, and I’m pretty sure we hit it

The BLNR still being offered on jubilee hinders its potential future value. At a point ppl will just by the jubilee model with an oyster bracelet on the side

I didn’t realize dealers still let you take the watch home with the stickers on it.

I would imagine there are tens, if not hundreds, if not thousands, of people who are already doing this.

If you’re just going to stick them in a safe you might as well just invest in the Dow. It’s going to win almost every time.

I wear my BLRO. If it holds or increases, great. It’s an emergency fund I can wear every day. No fun if it was just in a safe.

Exactly

Let the people who think things will infinitely go up and up and up. They will learn their lessons that this is not achievable.

Everything goes around in circles. Doesnt matter if its houses, cars, the stock market or in this instance watches.

To the Op, Go buy your stickered Hulk and BLNR and store them in the safe for the next 10 years. See how you perform.

Put it into perspective - $30k can get you a long way in terms of setting up a business or using that for money towards a home deposit for an investment property that will give you immediate return plus massive tax offsets. Just 2 options rather than speculatively buying 2 SS watches so to possibly make $10k profit in 5 years? LOL

True in my case, I have two blnr , one for wearing and one for in the safe too sell as soon as I dicide on with DD version to buy .
Blnr was easy to get just two years back from my AD, the second one was from my best friend as he deceided to buy a 116710LN instead

If you got them at retail that’s awesome but I wouldn’t do what the OP is suggesting.

The odds of finding a pair at MSRP is 0% so why bother asking.

If you dump money into an AD inorder to make this unrealistic scenario a reality then your investment strategy is negated.

I think you’ll get the 40k In a year at this rate. But sooner or later the whole things going to crash. It has too, supply keeps coming and my best guess is a lot of big sellers are hoarding right now to eliminate supply from open market. Eventually they will reach saturation

Over and under lol. I feel like I’m in a sporting forum.

I bet over after 100 years. Hopefully you’ll still be around to collect your money hahah.

At that age you’ll worry about your denture than a watch lol

By the way you and 100,000 people are doing the same.
