Question about my Rolex bracelet circa 1984
I just purchased a "triple 6" Sea Dweller (16660). The watch itself is beautiful and in great condition for a 35 year old watch with nice patina on the dial and hands.
My question about the bracelet is this. Does the solid end link from that time frame have a serial number stamped on the inside (the concave part that fits into the watch). I believe the SEL for the more recent editions of the submariner do have a number stamped on the inside. Not sure if the older SEL from around 1984 is also supposed have that # stamped on the inside or not. |

Bracelets do not have serial numbers, anywhere.
The endlinks of the 93160 SEL SD bracelet does have the part number stamped on the end, 592B

1984 wouldn’t have solid endlinks. It would be the stamped hollow endlinks which were still in use until the early 2000’s.

I know that the SEL has a number stamped on the end (592 on my bracelet). My question is if there is supposed to be a stamp on the "inside" of the SEL

I think you may be referring to the Submariner. The Sea-Dweller 1665 does not, but 16660 and 16600 all have solid end link bracelets.
