Bracelet for 1675

I am currently wearing a 93150 Sub bracelet on my 1675 GMT but trying to find the correct model number of the Oyster bracelet with the short flip lock clasp (no diver extension), also used on the Explorer I. I thought it was the 78360 but all pictures of that bracelet online show the non flip lock clasp. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean the 78790 bracelet?

Would need your serial to give you the right number but since you seem to be looking at a 5 digit the only one on 1675s was the 78360, and it was also used on the Explorer. Clasps can vary...

Flip-lock clasps are for later models. Here's the chart:

Hi, may I know what "SEL" stands for in some of the cells in the chart? Thank you for your kind help.

Solid End Links. Used on the later models with no lug holes (circa 2000).

[QUOTE=exador;9614278]Flip-lock clasps are for later models. Here's the chart:

As Lee mentioned, the 78790 has a small fliplock and will work with 501 end links.

Also, the chart you posted has some discrepancies.

Hi
The 1675 gilt I just acquired has a 7206 bracelet with 80 endlinks. I read (but no certitude) that 58 endlinks were supposed to fit this watch.
Would that make an aesthetic difference?
Should I try to change it to stick to the watch’s originality?
Thanks!

7206 with 80 endlinks is a correct combination for your lovely gilt 1675.

The correct end links for a GMT 1675 with the 7206 Oyster , according to Rolex, would be 58.

While the 80s seem to fit, most guys that I deal with want the correct end links, not necessarily end links that fit.

Many end links are interchangeable with certain models, but, with that said, there are correct end links for each model.

Thanks, that’s what I thought from seeing this chart!
The watch originally came on a folded jubilee but I’m really not a jubilee fan so I traded it for a 7206...

The best would be to find someone who has a gilt sub with an incorrect 7206/58 who’d like to trade it for mine

Hi
I need to change the spring bars on my 7206/80...What is their diameter supposed to be? 1.8mm? 2?
Are the spring bars the same on the 1680/1675/5513...?
Thanks!

A 7836 folded link with a variety of endlinks would work as well for a late 1960s / early 1970s ref 1675.

There seems to be 4 bracelet options. We're buyers back then given the opportunity to choose?

Thanks!

Thanks and yes, I could be!
I read on an old post that those spring bars were still easily available at ADs though, is that still true?

My local AD told me to come with the bracelet and they’ll see if they have any...But apparently for their watchmakers, the 7206 is a gold bracelet so I don’t know where that’ll lead :D

By the way, If I were to source 58 endlinks, is switching them a complicated procedure requiring to send the watch to a very specific specialist or could a watchmaker with the right tools take care of it?

That is definitely something you can do yourself. The spring bars will just slide out once you remove the bracelet from the head of the watch, and they are also what secures the end links to the bracelet. Definitely the good thing about the drilled lugs, makes it easy to change bands. You just need either the tool to poke in the hole on the lugs or a paper clip would probably work too..

The 80 endlinks on my bracelets are not « Removeable » from the bracelet without unfolding some steel

By the way, I found a 7206/58 from 66 that could indeed fit my watch at a fair looking price, does it look legit to you?
Thx!
