BB 58... wonderful gift

I've just received this for my birthday and I'm marveled... it looks really awesome.. and is so well proportioned and neat on your wrist... authentic ode to a perfect watch size.
Of course, my "suggestion" to her was a SS Daytona, but you all know how it is with that specific watch (also suggested the Omega Seamaster 300, but a little hard to get here too).
Have a nice day you all.

The seamaster 300 is harder to get then the 58... Where are you?

Oh ok that makes more sense. The 58 is a stunning watch and hard to find here.

It’s a wonderful watch. I’m sure you’ll love it more and more as most BB58 owners do, including myself.

That’s the thing I’ve always wondered too. In the parts of East Asia and Australia I’m familiar with, the Tudor BB 58 and GMT are almost as rare as the coveted Rolex SS sports models.

It is not easy to find new Wilsdorf watches in California these days.

I tried one of them on last week. Have to say, stunning. Photos do not do it justice at all.

I can only imagine... an Omega AD phoned me saying they have one in store, so i will go and try it on.
But I'm a bit afraid of those straight lugs... small wrist and long lugs... we'll see.
But, in any case, it's a very beautiful piece.

I got one a January of this year and in talking to my AD yesterday she was shocked I got one. She said I was one of the lucky few who got one because they are completely gone and very hard to get like SS models. Its a very popular watch in Cali thats for sure.
