You can’t justify the price for the OF, but if you added a PM bracelet the cost goes up 10k. It’s not like the OF and bracelet are the same price.
My comment related to making the watch more attractive to me by having a bracelet, rather than a rubber strap.

It’s not about the overall cost, I simply don’t see the value in rubber straps. They just don’t do it for me.

I’d pay 44k for it in PM but not 34k with rubber.

I don’t think Rolex put the OF on it to make it more “affordable”.

Someone on TRF did a photoshop of it with a pM bracelet and looked great, so was kind of hoping in 2020 they release it in PM.

Great watch, and IMHO great value.

What I love about it is that it is for those that want PM but want to be under the radar. The matte dial is to die for, as is the ceramic bezel. What a beautiful combo.

I know the YM line is not as popular as the others, but the 116655 is a very special piece.

That is exactly why I bought one. Those that complain about the rubber don't get that that was the whole purpose.

Hell no to that Oysterflex, but WOW the case looks stunning! I have to agree, the YM is looking hot. Just give me an everose bracelet!

The exact same thing happened to me. I thought it was amazing in pictures, and then when I finally put it on, just something wouldn’t click for me. I was ready to buy it right then and there and I passed.

I tried on the WG 42 and the Glidelock made such a difference! So incredibly comfortable, and smart to not have to perfectly fit the OF bracelet.

That said, I do think the Everose 40mm is far more interesting:
- Gilt print
- Red “Yachtmaster” print

The WG (although I prefer 42mm) seems just too black and white (monochrome).
If you don't mind my asking, what size wrist do you have? I'm contemplating this or the RG reference as my next watch and haven't been able to see one in person yet. I'm wondering how much larger it wears than the 40" YM, which I find fits me perfectly on bracelet.

Who here has some photo shop skills...I'm thinking about getting this to pair with my CHNR and swapping the bracelets. I think the RG YM would look amazing with the two tone bracelet...and the oysterflex would complement my CHNR quite nicely too!
