Always like to see a full set esp for older watches. All the correct bits, gives me a tingle haha.
If the watch is right and all the paperwork matches up then i think its like providence. I know people say its easy to forge paperwork etc, but nothing in my very humble opinion beats a full set for myself. Would i pay more for this, yes probably 500 or so depending on the watch. That GMT full set above is fabulous. |

I think it's more than 500 GBP even for modern refs.
Certainly, the older the watch the more the additional value of papers. In 4-digit refs it can be around 5K or more. I like papers, I like full sets even more, but above all I value the condition of the watch. |

These are worth much more. Many people don't even consider buying a watch at all without.

Box and papers seem to add around $3,000 to the value of a clean 16710 these days...
