Quoted price for RSC 16710 bezel assembly replacement

I was quoted a price of ~$250 to replace the bezel assembly (incl. spring etc.) on my 16710 by RSC. The reason for the replacement is that there was a pretty significant dent that was overpolished, and I asked for a quote to have it replaced.

The price struck me as quite high, but truth be told I have no context for whether this is cheap or expensive. Wanted to get some help from the folks here in assessing that.. any opinions?

$250? I’m used to getting my TT DJ and YG DD serviced / repaired. I didn’t realize Rolex RSC did anything for less than $1,000. Get it done as soon as you can, before they realize they left off a zero.

Seems reasonable to me. Many pay more than that for a faded insert.

Haha, fair enough. To be clear, this was part of a regular service as well, and they're tacking on $750 for that, which I am happy to pay for piece of mind and the two year warranty.

Quoted price for RSC 16710 bezel assembly replacement

When I had a 16710 serviced in April ,I sent it in w/o the bezel, insert, tension ring and click ratchet. So I had to pay more than those trading in their old parts. I paid $357 for all the missing parts.

I would pay $357 again because sourcing these parts yourself will cost at least $800 (new) as the bezel is sold with the insert. It’s around $550 for used parts if sourced.

Paying $250 is fine. Hate to say it but consider it a deal :(

sounds about right, are you getting the bezel and the insert ? if so, definitely a good price. Btw you would have pay more if the watch was not being serviced at the same time :)

$250 is cheap.

Try getting a ceramic bezel replaced or a DD date bezel replaced. Heck even a DD extra link is like $750 USD+

Hi op.

Keep your original insert.

Seems like the watch is already on Rolex hands; doubt they will send you back the insert assembly as they keep old parts

You're right. I could keep the insert I sent it in with but I'm pretty sure it was a replacement from the person I bought it from anyway (born an all-black GMT, they put a Coke in).
