If I leave my Sub sitting stopped for a while and then pick it up again giving it a good wind before wear it, can this be considered a " reset" .Would this process improve or modify time precision ??

You will do no harm whatsoever by winding and reseting time etc on watch and if wearing will do no harm to give it a wind say once a week 30 40 crown turns.As long as your watch is performing to the COSC standard -4+6 a day your watch is fine.But there
could be slight daily deviations in time keeping.
