Should I be concerned with this transaction? (possible transaction gone bad)
Dealing with a VERY popular seller on here with many references, so maybe I'm overreacting, BUT...here is the situation.
1) We agreed to trade watches. 2) We agreed that I would send him mine first, to arrive on 2/9/09 and then he would ship his out to me as soon as he received mine. 3) I checked UPS on Monday and it shows that he was unavailable to sign for it. 4) I email him and he says that he was traveling on that day. 5) I email back that I was kind of disappointed because I paid for rush shipping in order for it to get there on Monday so that he could ship mine out and have it to me this week. No response back. 6) I check UPS again today and it shows that he signed for it last night at 5PM. 7) He was supposed to contact me as soon as he received the watch. I follow up with him today via text, email, phone, and PM on here and have had zero response after over 2 hours of me trying to get in touch with him. Like I said, he is a well known seller. But I guess I'm just freaked out because I sent an expensive watch to someone I've never met and now he is not responding. Am I crazy?

I would be too nervous to do something like that anyway. I would only do something like you did in person but thats just me. I dont trust many people that are not related to me.. Hopefully everything works out great for both of you.

hahha, wouldnt trust my dad with my Rollie... he pawned his for no appearant reason after I spent my whole life thinking I would end up with it.. a subby, around a '97 model... and he pawned right after my wedding no doubt! perfect time to give it to me, and he didnt need the cash!
guy he sold to wont sell back to me, even for a profit, so i bought myself one i made a big deal out of getting mine, and letting him know my kid WILL get this one!

Sorry to hear you had issues, but it sounds like the seller came through....its a shame you had to make this post though. Congrats on the Exp!

Patience is always the key to sanity in any transaction involving multiple 1000's of $$$. Just remember to breathe ever other minute and everything will work out if you have done your homework.
