I went old school with the 116618lb flat dial.
The heft and look is spectacularly amazing I tried to go TT and within an hour of owning it, I sent it back. I’ll tell you why if your interested Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TT was my generation. Once around is enough.

Weird to see my post pop back up months later.
Unexpected effect: After going full gold I don't think I could ever appreciate wearing a TT again, sadly. Something would just feel...off. This from a prior TT owner. |

Guys, reviving this thread.
Will the full gold attract alot of scratches if it's worn almost daily? Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk |

Neither. I’d go 116619LB. Problem solved.

Depends purely on HOW you wear it and how much you bang it into things. The most vulnerable part is the PCL clasp. This will mark up mostly because it is on the bottom of your wrist. But all watches will scratch regardless of metal anyway. Wearing solid gold is worth it IMO

Would recommend full gold as a daily as long as you don't plan on being in lots of situations where it can get banged around. I'm personally considering moving to a (blue) rubber strap so that I can be less concerned with flailing patients, as eventually one will probably ding my bluesy. |
