thought it was interesting to hear someone of his means and celebrity talking about relationships with dealers, getting cut off, and the risks of flipping in general....kind of sobering given the current climate.

Also really liked his affinity for watches and pens, though his lack of interest in cars was hard to take in

And listening to him pronounce collection and montblanc was painful, but overall the video was interesting.

This is the video that made me feel that he doesn't know much. Just jumping on the bandwagon to try and add to his celebrity status..

This guy may be a big entrepreneur, but his knowledge of watches is B.S.
He has a nice watch collection (except for the CODE11:59)but he got them only because they are hyped hard to get watches.
This red rubber thing is ridiculous, this guy is only for show off,
The cherry on the cake is his stupid tentative of showing his knowledge of French with this “GENESAY KWA de KOLLEXXION”.

That is my case too, I do not care much of my car and I love watches and pens.

Hmmmmmm I appreciate his liking to watches but don’t like how starts by stating it’s an investment

It seems like every other thread on car and watch forums over the last couple of years discusses value, either initially or eventually, directly or tangentially. I get the sense that people are increasingly trying to catch the wave of participating in expensive hobbies from the angle of them being an investment. The ‘investors’ and FOMO crowd : true enthusiast ratio is not healthy and is unsustainable.

big fan of shark tank but hearing him say "collecion" is too cringey. the red straps also take too much away from the attention of the timepiece itself

People get all weirded out lately over the word investment. It doesn't necessarily mean buying to flip or buying what you think will go up over what you like. I think a guy like Mr Wonderful thinks in terms of value. Something with strong value will appreciate (or depreciate less) because it has lasting substance, timeless design or durability.

Rolex watches may be going up in value at the moment because they are in demand but long term they've go up because people value them.

Any watch connoisseur will think Kevin is a rich fool who try to convince others he knows about watches. He’s just another victim of marketing shenanigan.

Mr. Wonderful is a successful business man and I have a lot of respect for what he has accomplished to date.

Mr. Wonderful is a NOOB when it comes to watches. His ignorance was on full display on his own channel and he glossed over what it takes to even be able to acquire hot watches which was very irritating.

I am sure with time he will do enough research to not sound like such a noob. I think Praz has a better understanding of his pieces than Mr Wonderful.

On a very positive note, I do love his collection. I put a red canvas strap on one of my vintage diving chronos and I will admit that he gave me some inspiration to make the change.
